The genres suggested are mainly sci-fi and thriller due to the suspenseful music.

  Ominous and dark settings appear in the trailer suggesting evil and heirarchy.

5) Who do you think the target audience for His Dark Materials is? Give reasons for your answer.

I think the target audience is teenagers to middle aged people as teenagers can relate to Will and Lyra and also middle aged people can relate to the main villain due to her being in control etc.
